How it works
Measures the distance between the lateral malleolus and the lateral aspect of the heel in millimeters.
Valgus measurement:
- Hold the Hindfoot Axis Meter upright.
- Place the slotless edge against the lateral heel.
- Slide the ruler toward the lateral malleolus.
Varus measurement:
- Turn the Hindfoot Axis Meter upside down.
- Use the half-open slot (now against the floor) to measure with the ruler.
